The HeldClosely Briefcase in Ultra200x takes the most iconic silhouette in professional carry and rebuilds it from the ground up — using one of the lightest, strongest fabrics on the planet. No bulk. No compromise. Just a clean, minimal, devastatingly capable bag that moves as fast as you do.
Built from Ultra200x
Ultra200x from Challenge Sailcloth is a 200-denier Ultra-PE laminate bonded to a recycled, waterproof RUV film backing. At just 3.5 oz/yd², it delivers tear strength measured in the hundreds of pounds and waterproofing rated beyond 200 PSI — in a material lighter than most nylon ripstops. This is the same family of technical fabric used in offshore sailing and aerospace applications. On a briefcase, it's almost absurd. In the best possible way.
Expand when you need to. Disappear when you don't.
An expansion zipper runs the perimeter of the bag, growing the main compartment from a slim 15L to a full 20L. Slim enough for a half-day meeting, spacious enough to carry everything you need for an overnight. The main compartment opens wide via double top zippers, giving you clean, unobstructed access without digging.
Everything in its place
The front panel carries two pockets: a waterproof zippered pocket for cards, passport, or anything you need in seconds, and an UltraStretch pocket secured with a FIDLOCK magnetic closure — the smoothest one-handed snap in the game. Inside, two UltraStretch pockets hold the two included Ultra200x pouches upright and vertical, so you can pull out exactly what you need even when the bag is packed to capacity. A hidden AirTag pocket adds a discreet layer of security, and a key loop keeps essentials within reach.
Carry it your way
The removable shoulder strap attaches and detaches via all-aluminium G-hooks — no plastic, no flex, no failure points. Carry it by the top handle in a meeting. Sling it over a shoulder in transit. Detach the strap entirely when you want a clean, minimal profile.
