The HeldClosely Briefcase in Ecopak EPX200 carries everything the Ultra200x version does — the expandable capacity, the minimal silhouette, the precision hardware — wrapped in a fabric that gives you something extra: a genuinely clean conscience.
What is Ecopak EPX200?
Developed by Challenge Sailcloth, Ecopak EPX200 starts with a 100% recycled REPREVE polyester face, bonds it with a proprietary 100% recycled waterproof film, and finishes it with a C0 DWR water repellent — completely fluorocarbon-free. The 200-denier face is cross-ply reinforced at 45° for structure and cut resistance, backed by a 70-denier ripstop for stitch strength superior to traditional pack fabrics. No TPU, no PVC, no harmful coatings. Every component — face, film, backing, cross-ply — is recycled. The bag itself is recyclable at end of life. For a bag you'll carry every day for years, that matters.
It's a softer, slightly more textured hand than Ultra200x — warmer in aesthetic, equally tough in the field.
Expand when you need to. Disappear when you don't.
An expansion zipper circles the perimeter, growing the main compartment from a sleek 15L to a full 20L. Double top zippers open the compartment wide, giving you clean, unobstructed access without digging. Two UltraStretch interior pockets hold the two included EPX200 pouches upright and vertical — easily retrieved even when the bag is packed to capacity.
Front panel, fully considered
A waterproof zippered pocket handles quick-access essentials — cards, passport, transit pass. Beside it, an UltraStretch pocket closes with a FIDLOCK magnetic snap: one-handed, silent, immediate. A hidden AirTag pocket sits discreetly inside, and a key loop keeps your anchor items reachable without rummaging.
Carry it your way
The removable shoulder strap connects via all-aluminium G-hooks — no plastic, no flex points, no failure. Top handle for the boardroom, shoulder strap for the street, no strap for the minimal look. The bag adapts without compromise.
